Fred Kent left his native Wiltshire after returning from the Great War in 1919. He came to London where he established
a string of retail outlets to share his passion for good food.
Over the years, the 'butchering game' has changed along with customer expectations, and sadly all but one of
the shops is left. He would be pleased to know that fine Scotch beef and English lamb is still a household favourite,
but he would be suprised to see our selection of English and Continental cheeses, chutneys and preserves, and freshly prepared
kitchen ready products
We are also pleased to offer a selection of hand blown glass bottles from Elie Denoix of France, containing oils and vinegars
in some very unusual designs.
Old Mr Kent would definitely approve!!
